Wow so thats a Krishna doll... The Dr. i used to go to he used to joke with my last name and compare it to Hare Krishna - my last name is Christner (sounds very similar)

I love these colourful statues! Brought a few of them home, but when we moved to Thailand I gave them as a present to someone, still miss them.

I like these Eastern colors of pink, yellow and pale blue combined with gold! The little statue is so spontaneous and touching.

Rabbit it wouldn't surprise me if Christner and Krishna had to do with each other, linguistically speaking, then. But after a Google-search it appears that they are not, for Christner is derived from the Greek "Christos" meaning "ointed one" and is used to name Christ, and "Krishna" comes from the Sanskrit word for "black" or "dark", reflected in the blue color of the statue's skin. Nevertheless I find they have a lot in common although many would disagree, but it's only my opinion.
