Khambhoji at Academy!

Academy concerts are always interesting. There is always a lot of noise, pre-concert hype and buzz... Its more or less like a carnival not only for the rasikas as well as the artists... And quite obviously Sanjay's academy concerts are that much extra special, more so with his consistent brilliance throughout the season and he being always able to match up to the unreasonable hype around him! He sung pieces in Kamalamanohari (a breezy Kanchadhalayadakshi), Dharmavati (One of my favorites), Ritigowlai (the expressive "Nannu Vidachi"), an awesome Khamboji main, Jonpuri (RTP) and a beautiful Bageshri. Just felt that the concert could have continued for more longer especially with the season almost coming to an end!
