Swarna's "Chandrajyoti" moments

Posted by
Sriram (Chennai, India) on 4 August 2008 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

Thats my friend Swarna Rethas (disciple of Sanjay Subrahmanyan) during his glorious moments of Classical Carnatic Music organized by Charsur yesterday. The concert started with the Saveri Varnam followed by pieces in raagams Malayamarutham, Anandabhairavi, Chandrajyoti, Huseni, Shankarabharanam (superb) and ended with the lovely Thillana in Sindhubhairavi. Indeed loved the concert and felt very happy for my friend! Lastly have to mention this.... the concert was conducted professionally & aesthetically by Charsur and this is great going!
